DF Steel Pipe Passes ISO 9001:2015 ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 Triennial Recertification Audit with Zero Non-Conformities

DF Steel Pipe is pleased to announce the successful completion of our triennial integrated management system (IMS) recertification audit conducted by SGS, achieving zero non-conformities across all three international standards: ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. The comprehensive five-day audit encompassed all manufacturing processes, quality control laboratories, NDT inspection stations, coating operations, raw material receiving, finished product dispatch, calibration systems, document control, training records, supplier evaluation, internal audit programs, and management review processes.

1. Audit Scope and Methodology — Five Days of Comprehensive Assessment

The SGS audit team comprised three lead auditors with specific expertise in steel pipe manufacturing, welding engineering, and coating application. The audit methodology followed ISO 19011:2018 Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems and covered: (a) Manufacturing operations inspection including LSAW JCOE forming line, seam welding stations, mechanical expanders, hydrostatic testers, bevelling machines, marking and weighing stations; (b) Quality control laboratory assessment including universal tensile testing machines (600kN capacity), Charpy V-notch impact testers with temperature chambers (-196°C to +100°C range), optical emission spectrometers (OES) for chemical analysis, Brinell/Rockwell/Vickers hardness testers, metallurgical microscopes with digital image analysis, and portable XRF analyzers for positive material identification; (c) NDT personnel certification verification per ISO 9712/ASNT SNT-TC-1A for UT Level II and III, RT Level II, MT Level II, and PT Level II inspectors; (d) Equipment calibration records review including pressure gauges (hydrostatic testers), UT reference blocks, RT IQI (Image Quality Indicators), temperature controllers (heat treatment furnaces), coating thickness gauges, holiday detectors, profile comparators, and weighing scales; (e) Document control system including quality manual, procedures, work instructions, quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and record retention; (f) Supplier management including raw material supplier evaluation, approved vendor lists, incoming inspection records, and supplier corrective action requests; (g) Internal audit and management review records demonstrating effective corrective and preventive action processes.

2. Full Certification Portfolio — Enabling Global Pipeline Project Supply

Beyond the three ISO management system standards, DF Steel Pipe maintains a comprehensive certification portfolio enabling participation in pipeline projects globally: API 5L Monogram License (License No. 5L-XXXX) for manufacture of line pipe per API Specification 5L 46th Edition, covering product specification levels PSL1 and PSL2, grades A25 through X80, seamless and welded (LSAW) manufacturing processes. API 5CT Monogram License (License No. 5CT-XXXX) for manufacture of casing and tubing per API Specification 5CT 11th Edition, covering grades H40, J55, K55, N80, L80, C95, P110, and Q125, seamless manufacturing process, connections BTC, LTC, and premium. CE Marking per Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, enabling supply of line pipe and fittings to European Union member states for pressure-containing applications above 0.5 bar. GOST-R Certificate of Conformity for supply of steel pipes to the Russian Federation and CIS countries (Eurasian Economic Union). DNV Type Approval for offshore structural pipe and line pipe per DNV-OS-F101 (Submarine Pipeline Systems) and DNV-OS-C401 (Fabrication and Testing of Offshore Structures). Bureau Veritas (BV) Mode II Scheme for certified manufacturing of rolled and welded steel pipes. Lloyd Register (LR) Type Approval for line pipe and structural tubulars.
